Steve has over 22 consecutive years in Supply Chain Marketing and Management

rejoining Taylor in March of 2009. His career in Logistics started in 1986 while in college at the University of Cincinnati. At that time he answered a call to look into a position at Taylor that was “just like a UPS job”. The rest is history. Steve started filling and checking warehouse orders, then drove straight trucks for Taylor until becoming Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales for Taylor in the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s.

During the late 90’s until February of 2009 Steve was the sole Sales Manager of an award winning regional dry truckload carrier and also engineered the six fold growth of its fledgling 3PL truck brokerage.

Steve has a BBA in Business Administration-Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. He has been a past member of the CSCMP and WERC. He is originally from the Cleveland, Ohio suburb of Shaker Heights having attended Cleveland Saint Ignatius High School.

Steve’s personal interests are centered by his wife Cindie and son Joey. He is a former professional musician (hence the Taylor dubbed nickname ‘Gigman’). He also enjoys fishing, travelling, bicycling and golfing.
