NOW OFFERING DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE TO AND FROM MEXICO!

Effective immediately, Taylor Logistics Inc. is providing door-to-door transportation service into or from any city with the Republic of Mexico through any of the fourteen U.S./Mexican commercial gateways.  There will be no transloading of you freight at the gateway.  The trailer loaded by the consignor will be the same one that is unloaded at the consignee.
 
The next time you need international transportation service into or from Mexico it will be our pleasure to provide you with a no obligation, door-to-door truckload rate quotation.  In order to do so, we will need the following initial information:

1. Origin shipping city and state
2. Destination city and state
3. Commodity description (if machinery to be transported on open top equipment, please provide the length, width and height)
4. Gross shipping weight
5. Value of the shipment as to be declared for U.S. and Mexican customs

 
Taylor Logistics Inc. will furnish you with a written rate quote, valid for thirty days.  International rates are based on a “Shippers, Load and Count”.  Our rates are for through service ONLY.  They do not include Mexican or U.S. products customs duties, freight forwarder, customhouse broker related fees or Mexican cargo insurance.  All fees relating to customs clearance are for the most part paid directly by the “importer of record” (Consignee). 
 
Regardless of your buying and selling terms, you should consider purchasing Mexican cargo insurance for the commercial invoice value of the merchandise plus the door to door transportation charges.  Under Mexican law, the maximum liability for motor carriers, covering loss and/or damage is $0.10 per pound, not to exceed $200.00 U.S. dollars, regardless of the shipment value or weight.  Taylor Logistics Inc. offers you the opportunity to purchase up to $1,000,000.00 per shipment, per trailer (not to exceed the commercial value and transportation charges) subject to Lloyd’s of London approval.  Higher values are available upon request.  The current rate is $0.45 per $100.00 U.S. dollars value. 
For Example:  $100,000 (Value) + $3,000 (Transportation) $103,000 x .0045 = $463.50.
